Washington D.C — Today, Unrig Our Economy released a new Spanish-language radio ad calling out Congressman Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06) for his vote to trade millions of Americans’ health care for tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy. The ad urges Congressman Ciscomani’s constituents to call his office and demand that he stop cutting Medicaid.
This ad comes as Open Enrollment begins and millions of Americans see sky-high health insurance premium increases for 2026 due to Congressman Ciscomani and his Republican colleagues’ refusal to extend cost-saving health care tax credits that hundreds of thousands of Arizonans rely on.
“Congressman Ciscomani voted to rip health coverage away from hundreds of thousands of Arizonans, putting the livelihoods of families at risk,” said Unrig Our Economy Campaign Director Leor Tal. “Instead of standing up for his community, Congressman Ciscomani voted to slash the Medicaid his constituents count on, just to bankroll more tax breaks for billionaires. Now, this ad is telling Arizona families exactly what this law could mean for their health care and their wallets.”
