NEW AD: Unrig Our Economy Launches Ad Urging Senator Thom Tillis to Reject the Republican Tax Scam

The ad is part of a new campaign of over $5 million to put pressure on Senate Republicans as they consider the Republican Tax Scam that slashes Medicaid and SNAP to fund tax breaks for billionaires.

Washington, D.C. — Today, Unrig Our Economy is launching a new ad urging Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) to vote against the Republican Tax Scam as part of a new nationwide campaign. The ad highlights the harmful impacts of this bill, which would gut health care and take food away from hundreds of thousands of North Carolinians, all to give billionaires another massive tax break. 

The ad launching today calls on Sen. Tillis to reject the Republican Tax Scam that would:

“Republican Senators like Thom Tillis can try to downplay the effects of their tax scam, but if he votes for this agenda, he will be putting thousands of North Carolinians in danger,” said Unrig Our Economy spokesperson Kobie Christian. “This campaign urges Sen. Tillis to oppose the Republican Tax Scam and protect North Carolinians’ health care from being gutted to give the richest people on the planet another tax break.”
