Group Launches Six-Figure Ad Campaign Calling on Congress, McCarthy to Investigate Rep-Elect Santos

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Unrig Our Economy is announcing a new six-figure ad campaign demanding that Congress investigate GOP Representative-elect George Santos (NY-03) following a bombshell report and his own admission that he lied about most aspects of his life—from fabricating his work history, his education, and his financials, to refusing to confirm if he’s a resident of New York.

The ad campaign, which calls on House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy to begin a congressional investigation into his misconduct, includes:

  • Display ads beginning today on Newsday’s website
  • Digital out-of-home ads geo-targeted to NY-03 and the District of Columbia
  • A mobile billboard that will appear at a press conference with Courage for America outside the Nassau County Courthouse on Thursday, December 29, at 11:30 am ET (RSVP to [email protected] for details)

“Working people deserve representatives who will fight for their needs and who will be honest with them, not one that fabricates his life story to deceive them into sending him to Congress,” said Sarah Baron, Senior Campaign Director for Unrig Our Economy. “George Santos must answer for his outrageous lies, and that starts with a congressional investigation.”
