ICYMI: Mobile Billboard Shows Congressman Rob Bresnahan’s Votes Take Dough Out of Your Pocket

Washington D.C — If you were visiting the annual La Festa Italiana in Scranton, PA over the weekend, you may have seen a new mobile billboard calling out Congressman Rob Bresnahan for voting to raise costs for Pennsylvanians and Americans nationwide. Congressman Bresnahan voted twice to support tariffs that are raising food costs– including imported Italian products and crucial pizza fritta ingredients. This ad comes as Congressman Bresnahan faces criticism for trading stocks that could be affected by his votes in Congress, purchasing a secret helicopter, and claiming that he could “go broke” if he isn’t able to trade stocks.

“Everyone attending La Festa Italiana should know that costs on everything from pasta to beef to medicine are rising, yet politicians like Congressman Bresnahan are voting to increase costs on working-class people even further – all while enriching themselves in the process,” said Unrig Our Economy Campaign Director Leor Tal. “Pennsylvanians need their members of Congress to fight for them – not the fat cats in Washington.”
