New ad is part of Unrig Our Economy’s 8-figure House accountability campaign
Washington — Today, Unrig Our Economy launches a new digital ad that highlights the pushback to Congressman Rob Bresnahan’s (PA-08) secret helicopter while also voting to cut health care for working Pennsylvanians to give tax breaks to millionaires and billionaires like himself. What’s more, Congressman Bresnahan’s Republican Tax Law even included a special tax break to help billionaires offset the cost of purchasing their own ‘secret helicopters.’
The ad highlights the contrast between the helicopter Congressman Bresnahan uses to jetset to elite enclaves like Newport and Bedminster and the devastating cuts the Republican Tax Law makes to the Medicaid program that over 200,000 of his constituents rely on.
“Congressman Bresnahan is a private helicopter owner who voted to gut Medicaid while giving even more tax breaks to millionaires and billionaires like himself. It’s only natural for Pennsylvanians to wonder if he’s looking down on them,” said Unrig Our Economy Campaign Director Leor Tal. “The Congressman traded his own constituents’ health care for special tax breaks for the rich and powerful and Pennsylvanians are not happy about it.”
