Innovation Ohio to Hold Town Hall on Rep. Steve Chabot Record of Standing with Corporations Over Constituents

On August 24th at 5:30 p.m.Innovation Ohio will hold a town hall at  the Woodward Theater to discuss Rep. Steve Chabot’s record of standing with corporations over the constituents he was elected to represent.

While the working people of Cincinnati have struggled as a result of skyrocketing prices for essential goods like gas, groceries, and prescription drugs, some of the country’s largest corporations have been raking in record profits. And Rep. Chabot has voted to help those corporations continue to rig the economy against the rest of us. Most recently, Rep. Chabot voted against the Inflation Reduction Act, a landmark bill recently signed into law by President Biden that will lower costs for working people, rein in corporate greed, and ensure that corporations pay their fair share in taxes.

Innovation Ohio has invited Rep. Chabot to join our town hall and explain his record for himself — but whether or not he shows up, this town hall will be a space to get the facts on Rep. Chabot’s record and discuss key issues facing our community.
